Growing your awareness about - Provincial Health Care in Canada

This week’s resource: Essential steps to do if you are going to be on “maintained status”.

Some provinces have updated their web pages with details about your heath care coverage if you are on maintained status, others have not.

If you believe you may need to go on maintained status, be prepared. Contact your Provincial Ministry of Health and ask them about your Health Care coverage

To find the contact details of your Provincial Ministry of Health you can go to I/CAN’s Essential Guide - Maintained Status and Healthcare in Canada: www.irishcanadianimmigrationcentre.org/maintained-status-and-health-care-in-canada/

If you are not covered by Provincial Health Care, you are strongly advised to book private Health Insurance.

Remember you can always contact I/CAN’s Social Care Advisor for free and confidential information and signposting.
